At last a guy has taken the time to write down this all. Finally, the guys' side of the story. We always hear "the rules" from the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side. These are our rules! Please note.. these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE!

9. If you won't dress like the Victoria's Secret girls, don't Expect us to act like soap opera guys..
10. If something we said can be interpret in two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one
11. You can either ask us to do something Or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
12. Whenever possible , Please say whatever you have to say during commercials.
13. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.
14. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.
15. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," We will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
16. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, Expect an answer you don't want to hear
17. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as football, cars, bikes or games
18. You have enough clothes.

I hate them. I know this sounds awful, but sometimes I wish that they'd also go headfirst through their third story window, like that drug dealer did last month.

Gee...I think I just spent over 3 hours rating hundreds of things in the database...and my level has not moved one iota...it figures.
I did a lil' shopping yesterday afternoon - bought another rug for the living room - a 3x5 to match the 2x3 I bought a week ago from West Elm (I love that store)! It'll be delivered next weekend.
I also got a black & white throw for the bed from Ikea for only $15, in addition to a frame for a coffee poster for the kitchen.
Yes - I love shopping for my home, and for books - more than for myself.
I did buy a few articles of clothing over 2 weeks ago (2 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of shoes, and a shirt). Maybe I'll find 1 - 2 shirts, and that'll be it. I really need to start making stuff for myself, as I can design! (And sew a bit).
I'll be back this evening to hang out, dispense Honor, etc.

I hate the couple that lives above me. They fight most days/nights - yelling, stomping about, and throwing shit...like right now. Of the few times I've called the cops, they've only showed up once. It's no use calling management, as their mailbox is always full...Grrrr!
And I've spent the better part of today on the phone with AT&T and Dell...didn't get anywhere with trying to get my printer working again, nevermind that Dell wanted to transfer me to their fee-based department when the tech I had couldn't help me. Screw that - I spent enough money with them on ink and a monitor recently. They can kiss my ass.
I don't know exactly what I did, but I got the printer to work via Windows and not Dell. Keeping my fingers crossed...
Tomorrow, I'll set up the monitor...that should be EASY. But with the luck I've been having these past few days with my computer and its issues...who the fuck knows?

For someone who rarely cooks, I must say that my meatloaf turned out pretty good! And I know that the peach cobbler will be yummy...I even have left-over caramel sauce if I want to sugar myself to death.

We all get a variety of rates, from 1 to 10; lately, a few folks seem to think I'm not so attractive...lol. And it's all good, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Do I ask for a re-rate? No - I state in my profile that I don't go back and ask for re-rates, because the rating system is not why I am here.
But some here really get pushed out of shape when their portfolios and/or profiles are not rated with a 10.
When will people - especially newbies - learn that another's rate of them does not have anything to do with their true value?

Well, Whiskers is steadily improving, thank God!
I got more of the steroid and antibiotic, plus beef scented iron drops, as he is also anemic...lol. This cat is costing me some serious $$$. But I'm glad to have had the money to save him, thanks to my mom's generous Xmas gift. She won't like the fact that I spent almost $800 on a cat, but oh well...
Spent about 3 hours on the phone with AT&T today to update McAfee, and clean up stuff...after all of that, I still keep getting a script running error box popping up whenever I'm on the net...like now. Good grief. I'll call them again tomorrow...
Finally got my CT scan done yesterday...I'll soon find out if the gallstones are multiplying AND moving about. I sure hope not! The Nexium has finally kicked in as far as keeping the pain away for the most part.
And finally - no more straining my eyesight with this shitty ass monitor. A new one is on its way - yipee!

I've been really busy...so tired.
Whiskers is steadily improving, but we still don't have info back regarding the lastest round of tests...I'm hoping that he has/had a very bad infection at the least, and not some form of cancer. I hope that when I get the results, I'll steady myself and know what to do if it's the worse case scenario.
This will be a busy week with errands, and hopefully I'll get shit done with minimal spending.
There's other stuff I'd like to put down here, but I'm too damn tired...and my comp is too damn slow - it's working on what lil' patience I have.

A few days ago, I was in tears. I'm still crying, but now those tears are tears of joy.
Right when I - and the vet staff - thought that Whiskers was on his last days, he's now doing a complete turn-around! The fluid therapy and drugs are working! His lil' nose is no longer white - it's turning back pink; he's eating now, and is chatting again!
Everyone - me included - thought that the lil' guy would most likely die over the New Year...I was ready to put him to sleep just this past Saturday, as I didn't want him to suffer. But something in that cat's eyes told me not to give up on him yet, so I opted for the drugs (prednisolone and amoxycillin). While we still don't know what caused his illness - we'll need more tests this upcoming Friday), Whiskers is vastly improving! (He got another steroid and fluid therapy today, by the way).
I know that I shouldn't get my hopes up too high, but I am so happy! (So are the rest of the kitties).
Everyone at the veterinary clinic is calling Whiskers 'The Miracle Kitty'...!!!
